2023 Images

Thanks for joining me on this year's adventure.  I hope that these images can lend any kind of depth to what I experiencd.  This review of roughly 70 still photos features WA State, with a bit of of my other travels along the east and west coast.  The big themes this year were my continued work in the Palouse & Channeled Scablands of eastern WA.  There was so much that happened there, it became my next two drone films, and then the two new pages here on this website.

The rest of my time was spent in the Cascade mountains.  You will see my backpack trips on the Wonderland Trail and on the Dark Divide.   The magical larches you will see were caught between Cutthroat Pass & Snowy Lakes on the PCT.  I spent two grand evenings up around Liberty WA at the top of Table Mtn, looking out over the Stuart Range to Mt. Rainier.  On the final evening there, experienced the sunset of the year.  Finally, a couple of great trips out to Mt. St. Helens from both the NE & NW sides, and to Mt. Baker, assured I had okay coverage, at least.

There are many panoramas this year, hope you like them as much as I do!  Because there's lots of them.  And a few timelapses are mixed in too.  See my drone films if you want to expand your visual experience of what you are seeing here.
